International Securities Identification Numbers (or ISINs) are very important for investors and traders. And we keep the deep attention on our ISINs database. We keep to add <a href=\"https:\/\/eodhd.com\/financial-apis-blog\/new-isins-have-been-added\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">more and more<\/a> numbers and for the moment we have already <strong>45000+ ISINs<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s easy to use the search, just use ISIN in the query string. Either complete or incomplete ISINs are accepted. Below you can see an example of query and output with incomplete ISIN:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>https:\/\/eodhistoricaldata.com\/api\/search\/AAPL?api_token=YOUR_API_TOKEN<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/eodhistoricaldata.com\/financial-apis-blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/image.png\" alt=\"Search By ISIN. ISIN Lookup\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>If you have CUSIPs only in your database, it&#8217;s easy to calculate ISIN from CUSIP.  You should add &#8216;US&#8217; characters to the beginning of the CUSIP and the checksum to the end. The checksum is calculated with&nbsp;the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Luhn_algorithm\" target=\"_blank\">Luhn Algorithm<\/a>.
