We are excited to announce that EODHD APIs has become an official authorized distributor of Deutsche Börse market data. This partnership marks an important step in expanding our European market data coverage and bringing institutional-grade German exchange data to EODHD users worldwide.

What is Deutsche Börse?

Deutsche Börse Group is one of the largest exchange organizations in the world, operating the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the Xetra electronic trading platform. Xetra is the reference market for German equities and ETFs, handling over 90% of all exchange trading in German shares. It is the home of the DAX index — Germany’s benchmark stock index – and hosts trading for thousands of securities including blue-chip equities, ETFs, bonds, and structured products.

What data are we getting?

As a licensed vendor, EODHD now has access to the following Deutsche Börse data products:

  • Xetra® Ultra Level 1 – Top-of-book quotes and trade data from Xetra, Europe’s leading electronic trading platform for German equities, ETFs, and fixed income instruments
  • Regional Exchanges Germany – Market data from Germany’s regional stock exchanges (Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Hannover, Munich, Stuttgart), providing additional liquidity and pricing

You can verify our vendor status directly on the Deutsche Börse Market Data Services vendor list.

What’s coming next?

We are currently working on integrating Deutsche Börse data into the EODHD API. Here’s what to expect:

  • Enhanced German market coverage – Improved accuracy and depth for DAX constituents and other securities traded on Xetra and regional exchanges
  • Better pricing for European ETFs – Xetra is the largest ETF trading venue in Europe, and this data will improve our European ETF coverage
  • Additional data products – We plan to expand our Deutsche Börse data offering as the partnership develops

We will announce specific API endpoints and availability dates as the integration progresses. Stay tuned for updates.

Why this matters

For EODHD users building European-focused strategies, backtesting models on German equities, or tracking DAX-listed companies, this partnership means direct access to one of Europe’s most important market data sources. Combined with our existing coverage of 70+ exchanges globally, this further strengthens EODHD as a comprehensive financial data platform.
