Plans, pricing and trials

What each plan includes, discounts and ways to test before paying.

Which personal plan includes what?

Plan Main content
Free 20 API calls per day; 1 year of history for end-of-day prices, splits and dividends; limited features
EOD Historical Data — All World Full end-of-day history for stocks, ETFs, funds, indices, forex and crypto; delisted tickers; splits and dividends; Bulk API for EOD, splits and dividends
EOD+Intraday — All World Extended Everything in EOD Historical Data, plus intraday history, real-time WebSockets, Technical API, and Trading Hours and Holidays API
Fundamentals Data Feed Company fundamentals, financial statements, calendar data (earnings, IPOs, splits); does not include end-of-day prices
All-In-One All of the above

Current prices and the full comparison table are on the pricing page (opens in a new tab). Annual billing saves the equivalent of about 2 months.

Are options data or other Marketplace products included in personal plans?

No. Options data and other Marketplace (opens in a new tab) products are subscribed separately and are not part of All-In-One.

Can I combine two plans, for example EOD Historical Data and Fundamentals Data Feed?

Yes. Both subscriptions sit on the same account, and the same API key gets access to the APIs of all purchased plans. Combining plans does not raise the overall daily API call limit. To raise the limit, use the widget in your dashboard or contact support.

Are taxes, exchange fees or non-display fees added to the price?

No. The prices on the pricing page include VAT, and there are no additional exchange or non-display fees on personal plans.

Do you offer a free trial?

There is no paid-plan trial. You can evaluate the data in two ways:

  • The free plan: 20 API calls per day and 1 year of history for end-of-day prices, splits and dividends.
  • The demo API key demo, which works with the full history for AAPL.US, MSFT.US, TSLA.US, VTI.US, SWPPX.US, EURUSD.FOREX and BTC-USD.CC in all relevant APIs. Example: https://eodhd.com/api/eod/AAPL.US?api_token=demo&fmt=json

Is there a student discount? Do recent graduates qualify?

Students get a 50% discount for 12 months on subscriptions for educational purposes. The discount is available only to currently enrolled students; recent graduates do not qualify.

How do I apply for the student discount? Is a school email address required?

Subscribe from your own account by credit card, not PayPal, on the pricing page (opens in a new tab), then contact support@eodhistoricaldata.com and provide a current student card, enrolment certificate or similar proof of student status. A school email address is not mandatory. The discount is applied by support, not automatically when you register or pay.

Under the standard monthly student offer, you pay the first month at the regular price and are not charged for the second month, making the first two months cost 50% each in total. The next 10 months are charged at 50% of the regular price; after the 12-month discount period, the regular price applies. The offer therefore requires a minimum of two months and is not a one-month half-price trial.

Does an academic discount allow me to share a subscription or publish the dataset with a paper?

No. A discount changes the price, not the permitted use. Your personal subscription remains for you alone. Sharing access with classmates or colleagues, providing data for an institution, or publishing a dataset or data-bearing supplementary files requires a separate assessment. Contact sales@eodhistoricaldata.com for the proposed academic or institutional use; do not assume that a student discount authorises it.

Does a paid plan guarantee complete history for every ticker and every interval?

No. A subscription provides permission to use its included APIs; it does not guarantee that any particular dataset, ticker, field, date range or interval will be available or complete, or remain available. Availability varies by ticker, exchange, instrument, interval and available source data, and gaps may occur. A stated maximum history depth is not a guarantee that every security has every observation from that date. Check the relevant documentation and samples for the instruments you need before subscribing; those samples do not create a guarantee of future availability.
