In addition, it is involved in leasing a corn wet milling plant used in the production of high-fructose corn syrup. The company sells its sugar products primarily to industrial users, such as confectioners, breakfast cereal manufacturers, and bakeries; and wholesalers and retailers under the Crystal Sugar trademark, as well as for household consumption under various private labels. It exports its products. American Crystal Sugar Company was founded in 1890 and is headquartered in Moorhead, Minnesota.
